Chase is on the case... but is he the best pup?

So I've been watching PAW Patrol with my niece, and she's ALL about Chase. I mean, police pup, cool gadgets, what's not to love, right? But sometimes I think Rubble doesn't get enough credit. Dude's got a bulldozer! Anybody else think Rubble deserves more time in the limelight?

If y'all think Rubble's getting the short end of the stick, spare a thought for Tracker. Maybe a 'Rubble and Tracker's Adventure Hour' spin-off could work? Just throwing it out there.

It's actually quite interesting when you dig into the series' development. Each pup was designed to have a specific set of skills to ensure a wide array of problem-solving scenarios. Chase's popularity is partially due to the leadership qualities and exciting chase scenes, no pun intended. Rubble isn’t sidelined on purpose; the show tends to rotate focus, albeit not evenly. I've seen patterns in the episodes where Rubble leads more often in construction and strength-based scenarios. His character development is subtle, but it's there. Check out episodes 4x18 and 6x07; great Rubble-centric stories.

While we're at it, why not give some of the newer pups like Everest more storylines? She's got a snowcat for pete's sake. Rubble's bulldozer? Cool, but kinda old news. Let's get some fresh paw prints in there!

Chase is so overrated it's not even funny. He gets all the gadget play while Rubble literally does the heavy lifting. Without Rubble, they couldn't even get half their missions done. Chase is just the poster pup for the team. #TeamRubble

Rubble's my fav, too. He deserves his own special episode.

It's interesting you mention that because if you look at the broader merchandising strategy, it's clear that spin master has positioned Chase, alongside Skye and Marshall, as the 'face' of PAW Patrol. Rubble's role, while significant, doesn't seem to get the same attention, at least in the world of toys and advertising. He does have his moments in the show, though, especially during construction-related tasks. I agree, an episode with Rubble taking the lead would add a nice twist!

Haha, I get the Chase hype - my little one has a Chase plushie that never leaves their side. But yeah, Rubble's awesome with that bulldozer. He's like the unsung hero of the team, always ready to clear the way and help out. Would love to see an episode where Rubble saves the day big time!
