I remember seeing a Peter Piper Pizza in Australia. Not lying, this was actually true.
So, I once heard on the news on SBS that the American pizza parlor and arcade chain would expand to Australia. Then, I went here, and saw the grand opening, with my parents.
All I could find of the Australian version of this American chain is a tid bit from an article that goes like:
"Beginning 1999, you will be able to let your kids enjoy a world of pizza and fun! Introducing Peter Piper Pizza...in Australia!"

100% true. Peter Piper Pizza down under didn't last long though. American chains sometimes don't click with the locals. Our tastes are just different I guess? But the nostalgia's real mate, the combo of pizza and games was too good to be true!

You're right about the expansion. It was part of a larger trend during the late '90s where a lot of American fast food chains were trying to break into the international market. Many of them underestimated the local competition and either had to adapt their menus drastically or ultimately leave. Maybe P.P. Pizza faced similar issues?
