How to unclog a drain without a plunger?

Got a blocked sink drain and no plunger. Anyone got any home remedy tricks to unclog this thing? Don’t really wanna run to the store if I don’t have to. Thanks!

Here’s something weird that works: get a 2-liter bottle, cut the bottom off, and use it like a plunger. It can create enough suction to dislodge a clog. Be prepared for a workout and a splash, though!

My grandma swears by salt! Dump a bunch in there, wait a bit, and then pour boiling water slowly. It's like magic, works sometimes, not always, but worth a shot!

Just use a grenade. 💣😂 But seriously don't, might as well throw money down the drain

I'd say just go buy a plunger. None of these home remedies have ever worked for me. Especially if you've really got something stuck down there.

same thing happened to me last week! no plunger and kinda panicked, lol. ended up using a wet/dry vac to suck the clog right out. if you got one, be sure it's set for liquids and give it a shot.

Alright, here's the deal. If it's a serious clog, you might wanna get a drain snake or a wire hanger to get in there. Straighten the hanger out, leave the hook. Carefully fish around in there, you might pull out the clog. If you feel resistance, don't force it too hard, or you'll damage the pipes. Then use any of the other methods mentioned for the leftovers.

Baking soda and vinegar. Old-school but works. Half a cup of soda first, then a cup of vinegar. The reaction helps break stuff down. After 5 min, follow with hot water.

Try boiling water with some dish soap. Pour it down slowly and give it time to work through the gunk. Usually does the trick for hair and grease!
