I'm DYING for an announcement already! Luigi's Mansion 3 was incredible and I need to know what's next. With the expansion pack out of the way, the road is clear for LM4 news. Nintendo, please, we are BEGGING!!!

Okay, hear me out. If you look at the history, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon took 12 years after the original. Luigi's Mansion 3 took another 7 years. That’s roughly averaging a 9.5-year wait. Taking that into account, plus development delays and the possibility of porting the series to the next Nintendo console, we could be looking at anywhere from a late 2023 announcement with a late 2024 release, optimistically speaking. Just a theory based on past patterns, of course.

lm3 was fun but are we rly needing another so soon? maybe they're focusing on new IPs or something. Either way, Nintendo's not exactly the best at keeping us in the loop lol.

Alright, strap in for some speculation. So, considering the development cycle of past games and Next Level Games' recent recruitment spree, they could be deep in development. Luigi's Mansion games usually have a 5-ish year gap between. We might hear something this E3 if it's happening. Plus, with the Switch's life cycle being a question, who knows if they want to wrap up with a big title or wait for the next gen console?

With the success of LM3, a sequel's gotta be in the works, but nothing's been leaked so far, which is kinda suspicious this day n age... Wouldn't get my hopes up just yet if I were you.

There's no concrete info, but I'd bet they're working on it in secret. These things take time, especially if they're trying to top LM3. Meanwhile, maybe try some of the old ones to tide you over?
