Who misses Blockbuster and renting N64 games?

Man, sometimes I just get hit with this wave of nostalgia for the good old days. Remember renting a game for the weekend and trying to beat it? No streamin', no DLCs, just you and that cartridge against the clock. Those were the times, huh?

Lmao, imagine having to leave your house to get a game. So ancient. Does anyone even remember what a Blockbuster looks like? 😆

Man, do I miss those days... Sure, instant access is great now, but it just doesn't compare to the physical feeling of that rental box in your hands, the strategy guide you might rent along with it... It was like an event every time.

Ugh, those days were the best. I remember renting Majora's Mask and trying to finish before the rental was up. It was an intense, non-stop gaming binge the likes of which just doesn't happen anymore for me. And the snacks! Mom would get me my favorite snacks for my 'big gaming weekend'. Good times, man!

Nope, don't miss the rushing. Love that I can play at my own pace now without worrying about returning anything.

Def miss those days! There was something special about reading the manuals back home... now it's all digital, not quite the same.

Ah, Blockbuster's N64 section was a treasure trove! Remember the stickers they slapped on the carts, though? Usually right over the label, what a mess. But yes, the excitement was real! You'd scour the shelves for a popular title like it was some Holy Grail. And then that race against time to finish before Monday... Perfection.

Lol, can't relate. Grew up with downloads and online passes. Sounds inconvenient to go to a store for games, no offense.

Totally feel that nostalgic vibe, my friend. Nothing like the panic of trying to finish Ocarina of Time over a weekend cause you couldn't afford the late fees. Good times, good times.
