Starting at S-Tier, we've got Peach/Daisy, Pikachu, and Joker leading the charge due to frame data and combo potential. These champs have the tools for any situation.
A-Tier is filled with consistent performers like Wolf, Palutena, and Zero Suit Samus. These characters have few poor matchups and always a threat in a tournament setting.
Mid-tiers see a lot of volatility, with heroes like Mario and Sonic who can be fantastic in the hands of a skilled player, but lack the sheer dominance of higher tiers.
One must note the rise of previously under-estimated characters like Ridley and Isabelle. Patches have made them viable picks, shaking up the meta significantly.
Lower tiers sadly include fan-favorites like Little Mac and Ganondorf. Heavy hitting but easily exploitable, they struggle with mobility and recovery.
