All my friends say that Nintendo games are childish and just for kids. But I'm like, have you even played Metroid or Fire Emblem? They aren't just for kids, they're real games! But they won't listen. Anyone got some solid arguments to prove Nintendo isn't just kid stuff?

If we're talking influence, Nintendo practically wrote the book on modern gaming. Accessibility doesn't mean it's simple or childish. Their titles pioneered many mechanics we see in 'mature' games today. Ever heard of the 'Nintendo polish'? They set standards for quality in the industry that devs of all gaming genres strive to meet.

Mario might jump around like it's child's play, but have you tried speedrunning? Precision, practice, community – it’s got all the makings of a 'serious' gaming experience. Plus, Nintendo's craftsmanship in game design is studied by devs everywhere, so calling it 'kid stuff' is just not giving credit where it’s due.

As a dad, I play Nintendo games with my kids but also solo. Zelda series? Timeless classics w/ puzzles that challenge me more than the so-called 'adult' games. And don't get me started on the competitive scene in Smash Bros. That's not child's play, it's skilled play.

ah, that's nonsense. I got my start with Animal Crossing which may look cutesy but it deals with real-world stuff like debt lol. It's chill and teaches resource management, plus the community's amazing. There's a lot to get out of Nintendo games at any age!

Metroid games, esp. Prime series, are eerie and have a heavy atmosphere that's not for the faint of heart. Tons of lore and backstories that a lot of 'adult' games lack. Plus, survival in deep space with aliens hunting you? Def not kiddie vibes there.

Listen, the narrative depth in games like Fire Emblem goes way beyond 'kid stuff.' There's complex strategy, character development, and real consequences for your actions in those games. Just because something's animated doesn't make it juvenile. People need to stop equating bright colors and fantasy elements with it being exclusively for children.
