I feel like Tetris 99 doesn't get the love it deserves. It’s the best battle royale out there and the only one I can actually win lol. We need more competitive puzzle games like this. Anyone up for a Tetris 99 weekend tournament?

Underrated? Maybe. But it's also a gem for us retro gamers who appreciate the challenge of older games. The battle royale format integrated into the classic Tetris is pure genius. The feeling when you send garbage lines to multiple opponents can't be beaten. I'll join the tourney just to show off my mad T-spin skills. 😏

Couldn't agree more. Tetris 99 is a homage to classic gaming but with a modern twist I love. It respects the original while refreshing the gameplay with the battle royale aspect. Plus, you know, it’s great for hand-eye coordination. Count me in for the weekend battles!

Deep down, Tetris 99 is a masterpiece of strategy and quick thinking under pressure. Each game is short but demands your full attention, quick decision-making, and pattern recognition. The competitive edge it offers is just not matched by other titles in the battle royale genre. And the whole 'easy to learn, hard to master' thing is so true. I’d definitely be interested in some competitive play this weekend.

Yes! Let's make the tourney happen. Tetris 99 doesn't get nearly enough love and I'm so here for changing that. Why do you think it's underrated though? Because it's Tetris? Kind of wild to me that more people aren't into competitive puzzling. It's intense!

I’ve tried so many times and still can't get that win, lol. Props to you. My kids are way better at it; I should probably get them to teach me. I guess it's the whole 'speed and strategy' thing I’m missing. A weekend tourney sounds fun though, it's a good excuse to practice.

Totally agree with you. Tetris 99 is like the dark horse of battle royales. People sleep on it cuz it's not about shooting or looting, but man, the adrenaline rush when you get to the top 10... nothing like it. Would definitely be down for a tourney. Could even set up a Discord for it or something.
