A moon crescent for the first piece, huh? Bold choice, circular objects can be quite challenging when you're just starting. Would be good to see your work, maybe then we can give more specific tips!

Welcome to neon creation! If I could suggest something, getting a well-structured and detailed plan of your design before you start bending is always beneficial. Practice consistently, the tools (especially the torch and pliers) will feel more natural to use over time. And always, invest in a good ventilation system as the process can release potentially harmful gases. Can't wait to see your work!

Amazing! Remember, every great journey starts with a single step (or in this case, a single bend in a neon tube 😉). Don't worry about it being 'not much'. Your moon crescent is a reflection of you starting something new and that's super inspiring!

Congrats on your first artwork! Can't wait to see it. I'm no expert but from my experience, pay attention to the type of transformer you are using. They must be suited for outdoors if you plan to install your art outside. Also, your power supply’s mA output capacity (milliamperes) should match your neon tube’s needs. Stay safe and keep creating!

Great job on making your first piece! It only gets more exciting from here. Few tips on keeping the edges clean; the bend of the tube is critical. Try to keep your bends relaxed and slow, don't force it. Also, maintaining consistent heat throughout the glass helps to avoid kinking or crimpages. Keep the neon glass piping rotating for even distribution of heat and smoother bends. Looking forward to your art!

Oh my! A crescent moon? That's so rad! I tried making a star shape last week but it was pretty tough. Looking forward to seeing your pics! ✨

Big congratulations on your first work! A bit of advice: If you're making art with words, spend time on the design. For neon it's all about continuous lines, think about how the words flow together. No matter how many tubes you got, your art should look like one solid piece. Looking forward to your moon crescent!

Good on ya mate, starting with a moon crescent is simple yet cool! Remember, bending neon tubes takes practice. Always heat the tube evenly and go slow when you bend. Cheers and can't wait for the pics of your work.
