Kid-friendly facilities?

Hey Meadowhall-goers, I’m planning a family trip this weekend and it’s gonna be the first time with our toddler. Any info on how kid-friendly the mall is? Like, where can we find changing rooms, are there any good play areas, quiet spots for breaks? Appreciate the help, just want to make sure the little one has a good time too. Thanks!

idk much about the kid stuff but I've seen benches scattered around that seem chill - maybe that's your quiet spot?

Tip: There are larger disabled toilets that have enough room for a buggy if you get caught short. And keep an eye out for the various events they hold, sometimes they have kid-friendly stuff going on. Grab a map from customer service when you get there, helps to plan your day around feeds and naps. Have fun!

Hey! I've found that taking a stroll through the Winter Garden sometimes helps when my kid just needs to calm down a bit, it's gorgeous and spacious. For play areas, definitely head to the Oasis Dining Quarter. Also, check out the large Boots store, they usually have great baby facilities. Have a fantastic trip!

idk about play areas but last time i went they had these kiddie rides near the entrance, my little one wouldn't stop crying for them and they aren't cheap 😣

Make sure you teach your toddler the art of window shopping. Never too early to learn they can look but can't touch 😆

If you're looking for kid-friendly spots, the M&S cafe usually has fewer people and noise; good for a break. Plus, the changing facilities at Debenhams are less utilised so often cleaner and quieter. Also, on a nice day, take the kiddo outside to the fountains near the entrance, fun to watch if they're not running around yet.

they have family parking spots which are pretty close to the entrances - huge help when you've loads to carry!

Meadowhall's got you covered! Check out the parent and baby rooms scattered around the mall, super clean and have private feeding areas. The Oasis Dining Quarter has a free soft play area for kids under 5 but you gotta keep an eye cuz it can get hectic on weekends. If you need a quiet spot, try the seating areas near the upper level by the windows, usually less crowded 👍
