Kids activities at Meadowhall?

Took the little ones to Meadowhall last weekend and we had a blast! Found lots to do but wondering if I missed anything. We checked out the play area but what else is good for kids? Plus any shops that are extra kid-friendly?

Remember when a trip to the mall was just about shopping and not an entertainment extravaganza? Pepperidge Farm remembers...

Did ya check out Vue Cinema? They have kids' screenings on weekends and during school holidays. Cheap tickets for family-friendly movies. It's a good deal and a couple of hours of downtime for you too.

was there lst week. just kept an eye out for shops with the 'family friendly' sticker in the window. they tend to be more patient with my toddler's 'enthusiasm' haha. also big fan of the child safe zones they have there just in case

Game stores might not be the first choice but they sometimes have consoles set up for demos. Could be a chill way for the kids to try new games if they're into that. Plus the store staff at places like GAME are usually pretty cool with kids.

Check out the Jump Inc Trampoline Park next time! It's great for burning off some of their endless energy while you get to relax a bit. My kids are always exhausted after which is a win. Also, if you've got any LEGO fans, the LEGO store runs free mini-build events that are fab for kids and free is always a bonus, right?

kid-friendly shops at Meadowhall? lol. Most of them are traps to get you to spend money on overpriced toys they'll forget in a week.

There's a Build-A-Bear Workshop in Meadowhall, which is always super fun for the kids if you're okay spending a bit. They get to make their own stuffed animal. My little ones love it. Also the Disney store is usually a hit, they have events occasionally so check their schedule.

Did you try the Oasis Dining Quarter? Not strictly an activity but we usually grab a bite there and there's space for the kiddos to move around and not too stuffy for families. Some restaurants have coloring or little play corners too!
