Parking Pro-Tips @MH

Weekends here are a nightmare re: parking. Dunno who needs to hear this, but the multi-story by M&S is usually less rammed. Plus, try to come post-lunch rush; you might just get a spot without the battle royale experience. Good luck, warriors.

Pro tip: there's an app in development (still in beta, I think) that's supposed to help you find and book parking at Meadowhall, real-time. Can't remember the name for the life of me but keep an eye out. Could be a game changer if it works.

Seriously, parking is the worst part of the trip, especially with little ones. Thanks for the heads-up on the M&S area. I’ve actually started to visit midweek if I can swing it - less people and the kids can run around a bit more

Just to add to the conversation, if you’re coming in for a movie or something in the evening, the Lower High Street car park is usually easier. Security here tries to keep things flowing but it’s a madhouse at peak times. Stay patient and drive safe, folks.

Battle Royale, eh? Didn’t realize parking our cars was a combat sport now. Last one standing wins a free trip to the food court lmao 🤣

Yup, parking’s nuts on weekends, thnx for M&S tip! Btw if anyone's looking for bargains, don’t miss the clearance section at the back of the top floor next to the food court!

Everyone's looking for parking because no one wants to take the bus smh. If more people carpooled or used public transit, maybe we wouldn't have such a nightmare every weekend. Just a thought.

Totally agree about the M&S multi-story! Another thing I’ve found is if you go really late in the afternoon, the crowds die down big time. Just make sure you don't stay past closing, got stuck once and it was a proper mission to get out.
