Okay guys, so the other day I was seriously craving for a Big Mac but didn't feel like driving to MCD. So I decided to try my hand at making it. Here's the recipe and procedure I followed, hope you guys find it useful.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
Firstly, toast the sesame bun. Spread some Big Mac Sauce (store-bought or homemade) on the bottom bun. Place a piece of lettuce then the beef patty. After the beef, put the cheese, pickles, and onions. Then, put the middle bun (also known as the club) with Big Mac sauce, a piece of lettuce, a beef patty, and finally, some more onions. Top it with the crown (the top part of the bun). There you go, homemade Big Mac! Let me know if you guys try it out!

As someone who works at MCD, gotta say this is a pretty accurate recipe. But remember, the griddle we cook the patties on at the restaurant gives them a distinct flavor. Might be hard to replicate that exactly at home, especially if you're cooking on a regular pan.

While I appreciate the effort to replicate the iconic Big Mac at home, I am curious about how you have managed the texture of your beef patties and the level of seasoning. Those two aspects are key in achieving that authentic McDonald's taste.

While it's fun to recreate fast food classics at home, remember these are still high in unhealthy fats and carbs. Think about swapping the beef for lean chicken or even a plant-based alternative. And skip the cheese to cut back on saturated fats. Food for thought :)

Just tried this recipe and it's pretty spot on. One suggestion though - the Big Mac sauce makes or breaks this deal. For an authentic taste, you need to nail the sauce. My secret? A blend of mayo, yellow mustard, and sweet pickle relish with a dash of vinegar and garlic powder. It's all about the tangy sweetness!
