Ok let's be real, all this fuss about old, 'lost' tv shows is kinda dumb right? I mean, they're lost cuz they sucked, fight me! 😂

Gotta say, I love a good unpopular opinion but this ain’t it chief 😂 Some lost shows are legit diamonds in the rough. Sure, there are duds, but even they can be good for a laugh or at least give us some lessons on what NOT to do in tv-making.

I see your point but I wholeheartedly disagree. While not all old shows might suit modern tastes, they're artifacts of the eras they were produced in. Lost shows in particular present a puzzle - a missing piece of the cultural landscape that we can learn from. They reflect societal values, fears, humor, and serve as an invaluable resource for those studying the history of popular culture and mass media's impact on the world.

Not to be that guy, but dismissing all old/lost shows as subpar overlooks a lot. There are many reasons why a show might become lost, such as the network's failure to see future value in re-runs, accidental destruction of archives, or just plain shortsightedness. There's a historical significance too – they're windows into different eras. And sometimes, they were WAY ahead of their time, didn't find the right audience back then, but might resonate now. It's not just about entertainment; it's about understanding media evolution and cultural shifts.

While it may seem that lost TV shows are 'lost' due to their lack of quality, I'd argue otherwise. Many of these shows were products of their time, featuring innovative storytelling, unique cultural commentaries, or memorable characters that were significant for particular audiences. Loss of media can occur for various reasons unrelated to their quality, such as poor archiving practices, the cost of preservation, legal issues, or simply the fragility of early recording media. The fascination with lost media often stems from a desire to connect with the past and to appreciate the evolution of television as a medium.

Haha wow, that's a hot take! Lost shows are a mixed bag for sure, but some had groundbreaking writing or cult followings. Can't dismiss em all as trash. Some lost media is a mystery that makes it super intriguing, like why did they disappear? Anyways, to each their own I guess 😅

idk man, I get what ur saying but some lost shows are gems and important pieces of TV history. They shaped the industry and influenced current shows. Finding them is like rediscovering a piece of the past, u know? It's not about quality alone, it's about preservation of culture and stuff. Not all were bangers, but they deserved to be remembered.
