I'm wracking my brain trying to find anyone who remembers 'The Lost Animations'. They were these short animations that would play between shows in the early 00s. Really unique art style, no dialogue, super mesmerizing. I can't find clips anywhere online, and no one I know seems to remember them. Anyone got a clue?

Hey, I might be able to help. These sound a lot like 'Interstitials,' short animations made to fill time between programs. They often don't get proper credits or attention. I've archived some broadcast recordings from the early 2000s and have a few oddballs with no names. They are tricky, but I’ll go through some tapes. What I can recall is the ethereal vibe they had; it's what made them captivating to watch. I'll let you know if something pops.

I definitely remember these! I have such nostalgic feelings thinking about the unique style they had, kind of like a blend of watercolor and pixels? At least, that's how I remember it. Fingers crossed someone digs something up because they deserve to be seen again!

Aha! You piqued my interest. I'm a collector of vintage cartoons and oddities from the early 00s, and I think I might have what you're talking about. No promises, but I'll dig through my collection this weekend and report back if I strike gold.

Alright, 'The Lost Animations' aficionado here, and I think you're onto something. A lot of those shorts never get the official digital release treatment, leaving us to rely on the random person who might have recorded it on VHS. Have you checked old tv recording forums or maybe some Russian sites? Sometimes they pop up in the most unexpected places. It's like a treasure hunt, I tell ya.

Hmm, 'The Lost Animations' vaguely rings a bell! Wasn't there one with like a paper airplane flying through different scenes? Or am I thinking of something else? These obscure little animations are so hard to track down, hope someone here can dig up a clip!
