Hey I’m new here, anyone remembers an online game called Screecher MIDNIGHT? Played it as a kid, and it always ended with a jumpscare that looked so real, almost gave me nightmares. Can't find it anywhere now, like it vanished. Does anyone have a copy or know where i can play it again?

Hello! I archive old web games, and Screecher MIDNIGHT has definitely been on my radar. It's a shame, the majority of them were never preserved, especially the ones from smaller studios or individual devs. It was like a blip on the net. Flash's demise didn't help these cases. I'll keep an eye out and reach out if I find anything.

Screecher MIDNIGHT was def one of those games that had urban legend status in my friend group. But like most games from back in the day, I bet it hasn’t survived the flash purge. I sometimes check old CDs at thrift stores for lost games. Maybe you'll get lucky in one of those?

I tread where most don't dare, the depths of the net and such. Screecher MIDNIGHT though? Never stumbled across it. Bet it’s epic tho if it's giving peeps the heebie-jeebies like that. If it's anywhere, it's gotta be tucked away in some obscure corner. Happy nightmare hunting.

Screecher MIDNIGHT rings a bell. I'm pretty sure it was one of those games made by a small indie studio that vanished as quickly as it appeared. These types of games often had licensing issues or just didn't survive the shift from plug-in reliant browsers. If it was flash-based, it's probably lost to the adobe graveyard by now. I'll dig through some old forums and see if there's anything about a surviving copy or re-upload. Don't get your hopes up though, lost media like this can be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Oh man, Screecher MIDNIGHT... that takes me back. Used to jump every time, without fail. Sorry dude, I haven’t seen it in years. It’s like a lot of those old games just disappear into the ether without a trace. Dunno about a copy, the wayback machine might be a shot but it's a long one.
