Hey guys! Exciting update on 'Dexter's Rude Removal' - the banned episode of Dexter's Laboratory. I've cross-referenced multiple sources and found out that the episode was significantly more offensive than the watered-down version later released online. Apparently, voice actors even refused to record certain lines! Currently working on a side-by-side comparison of the script to released footage. Will post it as soon as I'm done!

Excellent work! 'Dexter's Rude Removal' remains one of the most captivating pieces of lost media due to its controversial nature. The fact that it was created and then locked away adds layers of mystery. Having a side-by-side comparison will be tremendous for enthusiasts and historians alike. Be sure to include your sources for cross-reference. Looking forward to your findings!

The nuances of voice acting in episodes like these really show the talent and the boundaries of the era. This is an intriguing piece of animation history, and it'll be an insightful study into the ethics and limits of comedy in children's cartoons at that time.

omg, seriously? I always thought the version they dropped was a little too tame for being 'banned'. I always wondered what the original lines could've been. Voice actors refusing lines, wow, just wow. Can't wait to see what you've uncovered!
