Troll in the dungeon!

Haha, watch me get you all riled up with a FAKE lost media story about a TV show called 'Ghost Policeman.' It's about a phantom law enforcer who writes parking tickets that curse you for eternity. Not real, don't bother searching, gotcha!

While the 'Ghost Policeman' is a whimsical fabrication, there are countless legitimate lost media stories that remain shrouded in mystery. These tales often reflect the zeitgeist of the era they're conceived in, providing commentary or purely comical relief. The rich genre of supernatural sitcoms, like 'My Mother the Car' and 'The Munsters', informs us that the proposed 'Ghost Policeman' concept isn't too far-fetched for its imaginary time.

I gotta admit, you had me in the first half. The 90s were wild enough to produce something like 'Ghost Policeman.' In a world where 'Cop Rock' exists, a singing police drama, a ghost handing out eternal curses feels right at home.

This show sounds like it would be perfectly haunting! Curse you for getting our hopes up. Would've been the highlight of my afterlife, er, I mean, after-work TV time.

You know, I def would've fallen for this back in the day before I honed my media searching skills to near perfection. Ghost Policeman could be right up there with Candle Cove and those other urban legends. But nice try OP, maybe next time!

Got me there, now I'm kinda bummed 'Ghost Policeman' isn't a thing. I was ready to scour the deep web for those accursed parking tickets. Anyone up for creating a pilot episode? I've got a camera and too much free time.

Honestly, with the wild range of shows from the 80s and 90s, 'Ghost Policeman' wouldn't even be the strangest pitch I've heard of. There's a cornucopia of bizarre concepts that actually got airtime back in the day, which makes this fake tale all the more believable. Side note, if you're into cursed items, there was a series called 'Friday the 13th: The Series'—no relation to the slasher franchise—that revolved around retrieving cursed antiques, for those interested in genuine obscure media.

Had to double-take cuz for a sec I thought this was a legit story, almost went down the rabbit hole XD. But seriously, would love if this was real, the absurdity alone is peak TV material.

lol imagine getting a parking ticket and then your car is cursed to never find a good parking spot again. I'd watch Ghost Policeman, sounds like it'd be a funny parody show!
