Secret Spots in London that are a MUST

If you're tired of the same old tourist traps, here's a few gems I've come across wandering the streets:

  • Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel: Incredible street art and it changes like, all the time.
  • The Seven Noses of Soho: Bit of an odd one, but hunting for these will take you on an adventure.
  • Wilton's Music Hall: It's like stepping back in time, unreal vibes and great shows.

Anyone else got some to add? I'm always on the lookout for more.

This thread is gold, but it’s missing some music history. Check out Handel & Hendrix in London, where you can visit the homes of both Handel and Jimi Hendrix. Slash walked right past me last time I was there, no joke!

If u're the kinda person who enjoys a good mystery with ur pint, the Ye Olde Mitre is a must. It’s a tiny historical pub hidden away in an alley. Takes some finding, but the hunt is worth it – feels like a secret society meeting spot.

Fascinating picks! History buffs should not miss The Old Operating Theatre Museum near London Bridge. It's one of the oldest surviving operating theatres and gives an eerie yet captivating glimpse into medical history.

Mate, gotta include Daunt Books in Marylebone. It's a bookstore straight outta a fairy tale with an Edwardian oak gallery. Great spot for bookworms and Instagrammers alike, lol.

Wilton's is a gem indeed! Those into theatre shud also try The King's Head Theatre in Islington - it's a pub theatre with some avant-garde performances. Proper intimate experience and solid pub downstairs, too.

If you're into a bit of a walk and some scenic views, definitely make your way along the Thames Path. You can find some hidden art installations and you might catch a glimpse of the riverbank wildlife. Most tourists stick to the central bits, but there's so much more to see if you walk further out.

Love these picks! I’d also suggest checking out Postman’s Park near St. Paul’s. It's a quiet place with a touching Memorial to Heroic Self Sacrifice. Not many tourists find their way there. Another good one is God’s Own Junkyard in Walthamstow, it's a neon wonderland!
