My encounter with a rare helpful Kmart employee

I had a lovely experience at Kmart today. Struggled silently to reach the top shelf (curse my short arms), when out of nowhere, a shop assistant swoops in to help. Not only did he get my item, but also helped me find a bunch of other stuff. Doesn’t happen often, so kudos to you, Kmart guy.

Long-time Kmart shopper here!

This is exactly why I love Kmart. I understand it's not everyone's experience, but I've had more good encounters than bad. The associates are often friendly and go out of their way to help. It's a stark contrast to some of the other big-name retailers.

I've seen many associates running around, restocking shelves, dealing with difficult customers, yet still finding the time to help someone out. It's nice to hear about instances like yours. Kudos to the Kmart guy indeed!

Haha, I feel you! Those top shelves are my arch-nemesis. So awesome to hear about a helpful assistant... honestly feel like it's a lottery most times.
