Pro-tip: Kids love flushing random stuff down the toilet!

Found my phone in the toilet today. Thanks to my dear 4 yr old son. Brilliant. Absolutely Brilliant. I suppose he thought Siri needed a bath. At least it wasn't the remote this time! Milestone in parenting, huh? 🤨

You think that's bad? Try DOUBLE twins. That's right, two sets of twins. My bathroom looks like a crime scene daily.

Don't worry, in a few years, he'll graduate from flushing things down the toilet to downloading random apps that charge you a fortune. Kids, amirite?

I mean, to be fair, I wanted to see if Siri could swim when I was 4 too! 🐠🚽📱

Oh boy, the random objects in the toilet phase...I remember it well. Do you have a check list for every item that isn't nailed down? Also, get some locks. Not kidding, it actually helps.

On a serious note, taking advantage of this moment to teach the little one about what can and can't be thrown in the toilet could be a good idea. This is a great opportunity to instill some responsibility around house rules.

Plumber here. If your phone doesn't make it and you find a LOT more stuff getting flushed, we recommend installing toilet locks. Yes, they exist, and they're a life (and wallet) saver with these young prospects for future plumbers.
