DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

This scam I am talking about is called Honor Watches and it's a scam that has existed since 2013. It is made by Geri Anderson who only made this scam and doesn't have any social media accounts. He is promoting watches that can give you FREE bitcoin (which is not how it works), and they are also promoting people to buy it. Instead, the owner just stole Samsung Smart Watches and packaged them in a different packaging. And that's what the point of this scam is. It was once available on Indiegogo, but now on Kickstarter.

Now this is why crowdfunding gets a bad rep. I've seen some truly innovative projects on Indiegogo and Kickstarter, but it's scumbags like this who ruin it for everyone.

Hey now, let's not drag Samsung's name through the dirt here. I've got a Samsung smartwatch and it's not just a reskinned scam device. It's a quality piece of tech. This Geri Anderson is the one who's full of it.

Here we go again, another sucker born every minute. As long as there's digital crowdfunding, there will be scams like this. Good on ya for callin' this one out, OP!

It's a classic bait and switch, really. Tempt people with something they want (free Bitcoin), offer them a tangible product to feel secure about the 'investment' (the watch), and then run with the money. Ugh, scammers are the worst.

Wait, so you're saying that you don't get free bitcoin if you buy the watch?! I thought it was a good deal! 😳

As a crypto enthusiast, let me just say this does not represent the community at all. Bitcoin isn't some magic free money that you get from a watch. It takes time and serious mining equipment. This just hurts the image of crypto. Stay vigilant, people!

Nice catch, OP. Geri Anderson's been peddlin' this crap for years now. It amazes me that Kickstarter and Indiegogo don't do more rigorous checks. That said, it's hard to protect people from their own greed. Free bitcoin, gimme a break.
