I saw my huge dog, Diggy, bite people and even children. He doesn't even like them, he just bites them or even poops or pees on them. One child even got his favorite T-shirt seriously damaged because of Diggy! Fortunately, he's now at home arrest.

Before anything else, you'll need to ensure the safety of others and Diggy. Get a muzzle for when you’re around people for now. Never punish after the fact; only correct if you catch him in the act. And please get professional help, someone who’s dealt with aggressive dogs. Also, consider talking to your vet about a check-up. Sometimes, aggression is due to pain or a health issue.

As an animal behaviorist, this is worrying. Biting and inappropriate elimination can stem from various issues—fear, territorial behavior, past trauma, or even medical problems. Strictly speaking, 'home arrest' won't solve these problems. You need an in-depth behavior analysis conducted by a professional who's experienced in aggressive dog behavior. They can assist in determining why Diggy is acting this way and how to address it. Restricting a dog's world without addressing the underlying causes often exacerbates the problem. In the meantime, ensure everyone's safety, including Diggy's.

Oh no, poor kid and T-shirt! Poor Diggy too, though. He must be really unhappy to behave like this. Sometimes aggression comes from fear or a bad past. Maybe try to see it from his point of view and help him feel safe? Positive reinforcement is key. Good luck and stay safe!

Yikes, that's rough 😬 sounds like Diggy needs some serious training. Maybe consider crate training or a strict schedule to help with the potty probs? And about the biting, that's no joke. Have you checked for any health issues? Sometimes pain or discomfort makes dogs lash out. Hope things get better!

Whoa, Diggy sounds like a handful. Dogs biting can be super serious, so it's good you're acknowledging the problem. Have you worked with a professional trainer yet? You'll need someone who deals with aggression cases, not just basic obedience. And for the legal aspect, you might wanna talk to a lawyer, 'cause if Diggy's biting kids, you could be in a lot of trouble. Safety first, for both people and Diggy!
