Homemade treats for sensitive tummies?

Does anyone have recipes for homemade dog treats that are good for dogs with sensitive stomachs? My fur baby can't handle most store-bought stuff and I wanna spoil him without upsetting his belly. Thanks in advance!

It's important to remember to cycle between a few safe staple ingredients; this way, you’re minimizing risk of allergies or intolerances. Bone broth popsicles are great for sensitive stomachs. Simply use homemade bone broth (no onions or garlic!), pour into ice cube trays, and freeze. It’s a soothing treat, especially in the warmer months.

Do you even veggie, bro? Kale chips are easy. Wash and tear kale leaves, toss in a bit of olive oil, bake on low heat till dry. My dog goes nuts for them and they're full of nutrients and easy on the digestive system.

Just give em' rocks to chew on, it's all natural and definitely won't upset their stomachs. 😂

first-time commenter but so glad I can help! my vet said grains can be good for dogs who can’t handle a lot. I make rice balls with a bit of boiled chicken and mushed peas. It’s plain but works for my girl!

Lean meats, man. Cook some plain chicken or turkey, cut it up into bite-size pieces. Dogs love meat and it’s easy on the stomach if you keep it simple. No seasonings!

Oh, fun! I’ve made treats with oat flour, shredded carrots, and unsweetened apple sauce, then baked till they're just right. Gets tail wags every time! Think about adding probiotics specific for dogs too, might help with that sensitive belly.

Hey there! I go the all-natural route. Sweet potatoes are my go-to, I just slice 'em thin and dehydrate them in a low oven. No additives and my dogs think they’re treats. good luck!

Pumpkin is great for sensitive stomachs! Try baking some pumpkin biscuits. Just mix canned pumpkin (make sure it's pure pumpkin and not the pie filling with added sugars and spices), rice flour, and eggs. Roll out the dough, cut into fun shapes, and bake until crispy. My pupper loves them and they're super gentle on his tummy!
