Yeah, was wandering some deep dark corner of the net and came across a wacko saying the internet doesn't even exist. Apparently, we're all brainwashed sheeples or somethin'. Anyone even buy into this?

Well, isn't there a rabbit hole to dive into? Let's unpack this idea a bit.
First off, saying 'the internet doesn't exist' sounds ludicrous, yes. But in reality, it depends on how you define 'Internet'. If we're talking about a physical network that connects computers across the globe, then undeniably, it exists. We've got tangible infrastructure – from servers to undersea fibre optic cables – all facilitating this connection among billions of devices. Heck, you can even visit some server farms and data centres if you fancy.
But if you're thinking about the 'Internet' as this conceptual entity, it's a little more complex. The internet as we know isn't static; it's constantly changing, evolving with every bit of data being transferred, every webpage updated, every tweet sent out. It's a dynamic flow of information, shaped by our interactions with it. In that sense, maybe it doesn't 'exist' in a conventional, static sense.
Ultimately, the implication that we're all being deceived or brainwashed is a bit of a stretch. Yes, there are undeniably mechanisms of surveillance, collection of data and psychological manipulation for advertising at play in the digital world, but it doesn't constitute a comprehensive brainwashing.
So, does the Internet exist? Absolutely. Are we all brainwashed sheeples? Seems a bit dramatic.
