Am I the only one who thinks that the old Yogi was way better than the new one? The classic 60s animation style. The humor that was actually pretty funny. And don't even get me started on how they massacred the voice acting in the new version. Talk about 'picnic baskets'...

I'm a professional analyst and historian of animation, so allow me to chime in. The 60's Yogi Bear aligns with the golden era of broadcast animation. The humor, simplicity, and wit encapsulated the charm of the period - the 'good ol' days' indeed. Modern portrayals, on the other hand, try to cater to current trends and demographics, which often miss the charm of the stalwarts. Classic will always be classic, a timeless art form that speaks countless languages.

Y'all stuck in the past. New Yogi is lit 🔥 Better animation, better voice acting. Y’all just too emotional about your childhood. Also, ever thought about the bear's perspective? Talkin’ about them 'picnic baskets' all the time must be really stressful for them.

Absolutely! That's the Hanna-Barbera way we all grew up loving. Not that I'm completely against the new stuff, but somethings are better left untouched. Don't mess with the classics. They nailed it back in the 60s. Modernisation has its perks, but at times it kills the essence, like Yogi's voice acting.

Couldn't agree more. Yogi had a kind of charm that just can't be replicated by modern animation. The old school was simple yet effective, the new school feels too... polished. And LOL, right? The voice acting isn't even comparable. No one can take over Daws Butler's role and get it right.
