Looking back at the missions from Vice City, the complexity has skyrocketed. Take 'Demolition Man' - simple RC heli, potent storytelling. Now, GTA V's heists? A whole new level. Setups require strategy and a keen eye for detail. Firefights are intense, and the narrative interweaving? Masterful. Each character's arc plays out in the missions, a cinematic masterpiece rolled into gameplay. Rockstar's learned a lot about mission design, making each new title set a higher bar. Thoughts?

You’re right OP, complexity is through the roof. The difference between GTA V and earlier titles is staggering. The planning phase of heists lets you feel like a criminal mastermind, and the way the story adapts to your choices? Nothing short of amazing. Detailed mission design makes it replayable too. Gotta appreciate how Rockstar doesn't dumb it down for players.

You can definitely see the evolution. Every new game adds a layer of depth to mission dynamics. The NPCs got smarter, the stakes higher, and they really make you think. Vice City was dope for its time, no doubt, but GTA V hits different. Crazy how we went from point A to B robbery missions to planning out full-blown heists complete with masks and getaways.

idk guys... is more complexity always better? Sometimes I feel like GTA lost its 'fun' element with all these elaborate setups. Like, I get it, it's cool and all, but can't deny missing the days where you could just jump into a mission without prep work.

Totally agree OP. The heists in GTA V are like playing a different game altogether. The setups alone are like mini-missions and it all flows so well into the grand scheme. It's tactical and each playthrough can be different based on decisions. And the characters, man, like watching a top-tier TV show but you're in control!

Man, Demolition Man was rage-inducing but nothing beats that feeling of accomplishment when you finally nailed it. GTA missions have def gotten more complex, but sometimes I miss the straightforwardness of the old days. GTA V is insane with all its moving parts tho.
