Hold My Leash, This Pupper's Gone Rogue

Anyone else's dog thinks they're a cat? My bulldog, Butch, has been climbing trees and lounging on kitchen countertops. Yesterday, he was in the dang flowerpot! Any other dog parents got a secret cat in disguise??? PS: totally not a dog issue... just for laughs.

Wait till your Butch starts using the litter box, that's when the real fun begins! Been there, done that. Buckle up for a wild ride! 😂

Just ensure Butch doesn't get into any mischief while in his 'cat mode'. Bulldogs aren't seasoned climbers, and an unfortunate fall could lead to injury. Play it safe and ensure he has safe spaces to relax.

OMG, that's hilarious! Like my Dalmatian, spots her reflection and starts grooming, no kidding. Dog or vanity cat – we will never know! 🤷‍♀️🐾

Suppose you've checked to ensure Butch ain't got whiskers and a tail, eh? Hope you're not mixing up dog and cat food too! 😂

In my 60+ years of dog rearing, I've seen similar behavior. Old Blue, my lab, used to nap up on the kitchen counter. Bamboozled us all for the longest time! Cherish these moments, they make for great stories.

Lol! My pooch Louie loves to play with balls of yarn, just like a kitty. Still waiting for him to start purring and despising water baths... hey, maybe they're onto something?? 🤔

While it's funny to see Butch acting like a feline, keep in mind that bulldogs aren't built to be climbers. They've got a low center of gravity and a bulky build. Don't let him get too high, you don't want to deal with a sprained paw or something worse.

Haha! Same, my pug thinks he's a parrot. Every day, finds a new high place to perch on. It's all fun and games until he can't come down and I need to rescue him!
