A Fork, I Guess?

So my roommate's idea of 'innovation' is bending a fork into a cabinet handle. Why buy new hardware when you can just make your kitchen look like a cutlery drawer exploded onto every surface, right? Pretty sure it's not even stainless steel so like...enjoy the rust?

Could be a fun quirky thing if done right but if it’s not stainless, it’s not smart. Rusty handle? No thanks. Hopefully, your roommate gets a real handle on the situation... literally.

Next time they should go the whole hog and turn a spoon into a light fixture. Functional art, they’ll call it. Next big thing on Etsy, watch out world.

Gotta respect the upcycle though. Reuse > landfills. Maybe if the fork handles get upgraded later they can be bent back and reused? Gotta keep that circular economy going.

Seems like a safety hazard to me. Imagine grabbing for a snack and getting a fork-tine jab. No thanks!

As someone who appreciates good cutlery, this is both distressing and impressive. I wouldn’t recommend it, but if you’re gonna go down this road, at least use proper 18/10 stainless. No rust and extra snob points!

Idea 💡: make all your cutlery into cabinet handles, then when you need to eat just rip one off the drawer. Easy access and avant-garde aesthetics!

Not gonna lie, that rustic charm is kinda cool in an industrial-chic way. If they start to rust, could just be added character, ya know? 😂

lol, innovative or not, gotta give props for creativity. Maybe slap some clear coat on it to fend off that impending rust situation.
