These TV channels will no longer be with UK TVs by 2025. And the radio station BBC Radio 4 Extra is moving online.

Great. Another excuse for my Nan to call me over. 'Help, the telly's gone dark!' 🙄

The broadcasting industry has been moving towards digital for a long time, so this isn't surprising. The major advantage is on-demand content. However, for those not comfortable with modern tech, this can feel intimidating. It's a difficult crossroads, striking a balance between innovation and accessibility.

Don't you see? They're just trying to control the media more by pushing everyone online so they can monitor us. Wake up, sheeple! 🚫📺

Finally! Why are we still paying for TV licenses when everything is available online these days? I'd prefer they put those funds into perfecting online services. Bring on the change! 👏💯

Hmm, guess it won't make much difference to me, I barely watch those channels anyways. My smart TV has all the online options, barely even need my actual TV signal these days. RIP traditional telly. 😔

Not chuffed with this at all! Already gutted over the BBC Three going online a while back. Was a time when telly was simple. Now they expect us to navigate the interwebs just to see our favourite shows. Sad days, indeed.

Well, this was bound to happen tbh. Everything's going digital these days. It'll be a sad day to see these channels close but I guess we gotta move with the times. Wonder what's next?
