Remember BBC 2W?

It was the best Welsh TV channel I watched. But I'm sad it died.

Aye, it's a damn shame what happened to BBC 2W. Now everything's moving digital, feels like we're losing a bit of the soul, y'know?

Fun fact, BBC 2W was the first BBC TV channel to end all analogue transmissions. Historic, if you ask me.

Anyone got any good archives for BBC 2W? Managed to find a few snippets on YouTube, but that's about it.

Hear you loud and clear, mate. I keep hoping some of the old BBC 2W shows make it to BritBox.

Yeah, I remember BBC 2W. Funny how it made us feel more connected as a community. RIP.

BBC 2W was indeed quite a unique channel. Launched in 2001, it provided a much desired platform for Welsh-produced programming. At its peak, the channel showcased an impressive lineup of Welsh drama, features & chat show. Its demise, rather ironically, was a result of BBC's drive to incorporate more Welsh programming within its general broadcasts. Still, it's fondly remembered by many.

Mate, I loved BBC 2W. It was like a little piece of home whenever I was away at uni. Proper gutted when it went off air.
