The Hub’s failure was more about business than the quality of its shows. It was caught in that rough transition period between traditional cable TV and the streamer generation. Their target demo was online more than in front of the TV, and they didn't pivot fast enough. It's a deep dive topic, but yeah, they were onto something with their show lineup for sure.

Let’s be honest, The Hub had some stinkers too. Not every show was a gem. Maybe that’s why it couldn’t survive. RIP I guess 😂

man, the hub was a treasure trove of good ol' memories. now we can only relive them through blurry youtube vids. feels bad. they need to revive these classics on one of the big streaming platforms imo

Only caught The Hub a few times at a friend’s place since we had basic cable. What I saw was legit though. Wish I could've seen more.

Internet streaming was just picking up steam when The Hub went down. It’s a shame cause I bet if they held out longer they coulda turned into a solid streaming service with the cult followings they had.

Shows like Dan Vs. were so underrated. Hub deserved better. It was all about timing, they hit at a weird time in television.

The Hub basically kickstarted the brony phenomenon with MLP: FiM! Was such a unique space in TV history. The vibe of the channel was like a cozy niche for shows that didn't quite fit the mainstream. Miss coming home to that.

Yeah the Hub was the bomb. Loved tuning in for Transformers Prime -- that show had awesome CGI for its time. Still can’t believe how they just vanished. Toonami resurrection gives me hope that maybe one day someone will reboot The Hub.
