One word: Reptar. Rugrats never got the respect it deserved. That show was deep for a 'kids' cartoon. Also, anyone miss waking up and finding out your favorite show had a random marathon? Best surprise ever.

Those mornings were absolutely the best. My go-to ritual was Digimon, followed by Pokemon, with a big bowl of Frosted Flakes. And I had to have the volume way up for the theme songs - neighbors be damned, it was worth it. Then mom would come in and say 'turn it down or turn it off!' Haha, good times. These days channels just run infomercials and kids are on tablets. Not the same communal vibe with everyone talking about the same episodes at school on Monday.

Cartoons haven't gone anywhere though, they're just on different platforms, ya know? Streaming's got some good stuff. Ever checked out stuff like Gravity Falls or Adventure Time? I think it's not just nostalgia, cartoons today are still pretty dope!
