Yea yea, remember stayin' up for those Saturday morning cartoons? Kablam was my jam on Nickelodeon. Wake up, bowl of cereal, no school, and just crazy cartoons. Man, I feel bad for kids nowadays. They'll never know the hype.

I see your Saturday cartoons and raise you Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball! I mean, rushing to the TV to catch those felt like a weekly holiday, and don't get me started on the impact. Who didn't want to go Super Saiyan in the middle of history class back in the day? Anime on Saturday mornings was a gateway drug, I swear.

Those mornings were absolutely the best. My go-to ritual was Digimon, followed by Pokemon, with a big bowl of Frosted Flakes. And I had to have the volume way up for the theme songs - neighbors be damned, it was worth it. Then mom would come in and say 'turn it down or turn it off!' Haha, good times. These days channels just run infomercials and kids are on tablets. Not the same communal vibe with everyone talking about the same episodes at school on Monday.

Cartoons haven't gone anywhere though, they're just on different platforms, ya know? Streaming's got some good stuff. Ever checked out stuff like Gravity Falls or Adventure Time? I think it's not just nostalgia, cartoons today are still pretty dope!

Oh man, this brings back memories. Saturday mornings were sacred. Anyone remember the pure joy of waking up and realizing it's time for X-Men and Spiderman cartoons? Not only was the animation amazing, but the theme songs slapped! Kids these days are missing out for real.
