Remember Quiznos and those weird Spongmonkey mascots? 'We love the subs!' LOL. Those oven-toasted subs hit different, man. I'd kill for a classic Italian right now. Too bad they couldn't keep up in the sub race... Subway's just not the same :/

It’s a shame what happened with Quiznos. Management issues and franchisee disputes basically torpedoed the whole operation. At their peak, they were innovators with that toasting tech. Now, you gotta go to a local deli to get anywhere close to that quality. Subway's just playing the quantity game these days.

C'mon, Subway's not that bad. They've got variety and I mean, $5 for a footlong was pretty solid. Plus, you can't beat those cookies. Sure, Quiznos toasted subs were the bomb, but Subway's still holding the fort down for sub lovers. Survival of the fittest, y'know?

Every time I'm at Subway, I stare at the oven wishing my sub would come out looking like a Quiznos masterpiece, but nope. Those oven-toasted buns had a crunch that was otherworldly. If u know a place that does subs like that, hit me up, pls.

So true, all Quiznos needed was better marketing. Those spongmonkeys were on point but ahead of their time. Subway's got nothin on that authentic toasted sub feel. The cheese melted into the bread, man. It's like, get your act together, other sub places.

Quiznos had that one sub, I think it was the Mesquite Chicken, and nothing at Subway even comes CLOSE. Why is it all the good ones go under? Might just be me, but Subway's bread has changed or something—it's just not as satisfying as the toasty goodness we used to get, haha.
