CompUSA was where you went to ogle at the latest computer tech. Rows of PCs, laptops, software for days - it was heaven for a techie like me. Going under in 2007, they technically still survive online, but it's just a brand owned by TigerDirect now. Ain't no replacement for those afternoons I spent debating which graphics card to buy while staring down an actual aisle. #TechNostalgia

Loved the discounts, hated the late shifts. Seeing CompUSA close was bittersweet. Corporate could never keep up with online giants. Still, had good times with the crew and learned a ton about tech. It's a chapter I semi-fondly close in my book.

CompUSA had its moments, but let's not forget the times they'd be out of stock or overpriced. Don't get me wrong, it was a cornerstone of the tech community, but online shopping has its perks. Still, kinda miss the magic of the physical store.

The software section was INSANE! Rows upon rows of every kind of software you could think of. Even found some rare stuff there over the years. You could actually read the boxes, compare the specs, and get that immediate gratification. Now we just click 'buy' and that's it. I still have some unopened boxes, probably worth something now. CompUSA was a legend.

I still have a GPU I bought from CompUSA, sitting in my old rig. That place was like a candy store for us geeks. Now you gotta wait for shipping, and it's never as satisfying as walking out of the store with that new hardware in your hands. You'd chat up with the employees and they'd hook you up with the latest driver tips or game recommendations. Good times.

Worked at CompUSA back in the day. You think customers had a blast? We had first dibs on returns and defective items. Got myself a half-price monitor just cause the box was damaged. Miss those benefits dude. And the people, some real characters came through those doors!

Yeah I feel u man, CompUSA was the jam. Literally spent hours in those aisles just dreaming about the next build. Crazy how it all just disappeared. Last time I went was to pick up a sound card, and next thing you know they're gone. Now its all online and you can't get that same experience. RIP good old days.
