Mr. Bean is the worst TV show I've ever watched

Here, the main character does funny hijinks, and I'm not happy that the series only lasted 15 episodes. I thought it lasted much longer.

At least its animated counterpart lasted much longer than the live action (original) counterpart.

Only 15? That’s news to me!! Felt like it was on every other day when I was younger. Though maybe that's just how it stuck in my head cause of the reruns lol.

Wow, 15 episodes and still more iconic than most shows with hundreds. If Mr Bean is the worst you've seen, you must be living the dream, mate! 🤣

Yep, it was short but sweet. Still, if you're looking for a bit more Bean, don't forget to check out the two movies and the shorts for Comic Relief - adds a bit more to the whole Bean universe!

It's a common misconception that the series ran for many seasons because Mr. Bean's character is so ingrained in British pop culture. In fact, the series made a huge impact with minimal episodes, which is pretty impressive. And Rowan Atkinson's performance? Pure genius, some of the best physical comedy out there.

15 episodes of gold though innit? Each one's sorta like a short film. Quality over quantity! But I get where you're coming from, if you ain't into that type of humor it's just not gonna be your thing.

Actually, the animated series did bring a fresh perspective, expanding the character in ways the original format couldn't due to its largely silent and visual gags. Also, the animations allowed for more elaborate situations that just wouldn't be feasible in a typical sitcom. Plus, it's great for kids and has 130+ episodes which is quite a bit longer than the live-action series.

That's true. It's much longer than animated counterpart, many episodes, still seems to go on.

Exactly mate! Bean's all about the laughs at the end of the day. Whether it's the telly series or the cartoons, if it gets a chuckle out of you, job's a good'un. Let's not forget those classic movies too. Possibly unpopular opinion but I reckon 'Bean' from '97 is a cracking film.

Oi, but don't knock the animated series too much. It did a solid job introducing Mr. Bean to a younger audience. Yeah, it's no classic compared to the live action but still has some decent laughs. And it keeps the Bean legacy going, doesn't it?

Absolutely, Atkinson's facial expressions and the physicality he brought to the character were iconic. The animated series misses out on that. Interesting fact, the live show only had 15 eps because Atkinson didn't want to overdo it. Wanted quality over quantity, he did.

Kinda funny when you think about it, the animated series did get way more episodes than the live action. Never struck the same chord with me though, the original Mr. Bean's charm was Rowan Atkinson's physical comedy, innit?

Eh, Mr. Bean isn't everyone's cuppa tea, is it? The thing about it is that it's a bit like Marmite, you either love it or hate it. And yea, there was only 15 episodes but each one's a gem. The holiday special episodes are class though, gotta admit!
