I was used to watching it, but then, I was scared.
I remember when the dragon's eye winked and came to life as a talking dragon, who was huge. Then they took children to Pelamar, and they were forced to save some world by fixing a MacGuffin...

Wow, a throwback! 'Through the Dragon's Eye' was one of those shows that was a bit odd but really good at teaching without you realizing you're learning. Remember how we were all so invested in the story? Shows like this were amazing. They don't make them like that anymore, right guys?

Hey, don't worry about it! A lot of us were a bit scared by that dragon and the whole vibe. As a kid, your imagination just runs wild, doesn't it? And those shows were designed to hook you in. Reckon it's all part of growing up in the UK at that time. You're not alone!

I remember watching that and being both fascinated and frightened. It's interesting how many of us were affected by 'Through the Dragon's Eye'. I think it was the mix of adventure and real stakes for the characters. They didn't sugar-coat the danger, did they? And finding the pieces of the Veetacore (was that what it was called?) felt so important. I was always extra attentive during reading time because of that show.

Absolutely classic show! 'Through the Dragon's Eye' was part of the Look and Read series aimed at helping us improve reading skills, but yeah it was lowkey terrifying at times. The mixture of live-action and animation was mind-blowing back in the day. And 'MacGuffin'? You're spot on, they never explained that VHS tape—very mystical indeed. Wonder if kids shows these days have anything that's both educational and a bit spooky?

Oh man, that brings back memories! 'Through the Dragon's Eye' was such a staple of my childhood. Pretty sure it’s the reason I got into fantasy books later on. Yeah, that winking dragon could be creepy for a kid, no doubt. Did anyone else find the theme tune super catchy though?
