Just been to America, they brew tea in microwave

Just got back from a trip across the pond and caught me mate brewing his tea in the microwave! Tried to tell him proper method, but he wouldn't listen. I feel like I'm in that episode of the Twilight Zone... What's the world coming to?

Ha! Next they'll be putting their fish'n'chips in the toaster and calling it supper. Barking mad, I tell ya!

As a Brit living stateside, it's part of me duty to educate these Americans on the arts of proper tea making. We did invent the stuff after all. Microwave indeed, it's a scandal and no mistake!

In my granddad's time, they would've sorted him out quicksmart with a clout round the ear. Microwave tea... What's this world coming to, eh?

Not gonna lie, I'm an offender! Microwave is just so much quicker, innit? Really gets the water going hot, quick! 😆

I say it's all due to the revolution, mate. The moment they started tossing our breakfast brew into Boston Harbor, we should've known it was downhill from there. Microwave? Blast it all to Hell!

I do wonder what me British ancestors would think of me if they saw me do that! 🤣 Guess I've got to learn the right way, out of respect, eh?

I've heard of folks doing this before! In a microwave of all places? There's a murder of tea happening across the pond and no one's stopping it. It's simply sad, innit? Please tell me you made a proper brew when you got back home.

As a Brit living in the US, I completely get your pain. Trying to teach these Yanks the art of a proper brew is like trying to get a football fan interested in baseball. It's just not in their blood, old chum.
