Hey fam, wanted to share a poem I wrote about my journey. I think it captures my struggle, my pain, and my hopes. Would love to hear what you guys think!
In the tangle of my thoughts, A warzone of silent screams. Haunted by yesteryears, Drowning in a cascade of dreams.
Yet forged by the flames of torment, A phoenix I arose, stronger. Hurled into the abyss, I discovered, The night isn't forever, and daylight is longer.
Now I float in every moment, A shipwreck survivor, I ride the tide. In search of peace, in search of solace, And in myself, a safe space to confide.

Your poem is a testament to your strength and resilience! As someone who battles with C-PTSD daily, I find your words incredibly motivating. Especially loved the phoenix analogy - gonna remember that one when things get tough. Thanks for sharing. 💪🦋

'Now I float in every moment, A shipwreck survivor, I ride the tide.' Gotta say, that's a really impactful line. As someone who's struggled with grounding and mindfulness, it's a hell of metaphor. I feel like every time I read it, it resonates in a new way. Seriously, good job.

This is a beautiful representation of resilience in the face of C-PTSD. Your poem does an excellent job of illustrating the struggles, pain, and eventual hope many individuals with the disorder experience. The part of 'forged by the flames of torment, A phoenix I arose, stronger.' really speaks to the transformative power of overcoming trauma. Poetic expression can be an effective therapeutic tool. Keep it up!
