Is it just me or does anyone else ever worry that their C-PTSD makes them 'too much' to handle for others? Like, that people will get tired of dealing with your triggers, flashbacks n' stuff. Worries me... a lot...

Embrace this vulnerability! In truth, we can never control how others perceive us. One word of advice - meditation. It creates an inner peace that transcends all fears, insecurities and doubts. Mindfulness helps us accept things the way they are. Best of luck, friend.

Been dealing with C-PTSD for years now, and from my experience, I can tell you that yes it's tough! But most people are actually understanding and empathetic. It's more about us struggling with accepting ourselves. The more we do, the less we worry about being 'too much' for others. And remember, it’s okay to be a work-in-progress.

Licensed Therapist here. Remember, it's okay to need help and to lean on others. Real friends will understand way more than you think, and no one is 'too much.' We're all just humans trying to handle life's curveballs. If people can't understand or empathize, it's their lack of emotional maturity, not your burden to bear. Therapy can help with these feelings of self-doubt too.
