First of all, don't panic. It could be nothing or it could be something, we need more info to be sure. Here's what you should do:
Investigate: Playback the episode and note down as much as possible. The exact dialogue, the sequences, any noticeable landmark or character behaviour, 'weird sounds', etc. Try to grab some stills or short clips without damaging the tape.
Compare: Check against regular Teletubbies episode: Do characters, settings, voices match? How about show structure, joke style, catchphrases, running gags etc? These can tell you if it's a real episode, a parody, a fan-made recreation, etc.
Research: Dig into the internet! Look through old episode guides, newspaper archives, public TV records, forums, fan clubs, anything you can think of for evidence of the episode. Even if it's not real, it's interesting to find out what it really is.
Share: Post your findings here or on a similar platform. There are always people around willing to help. Just remember to be respectful and cautious about sharing potentially distressing content.
Remember to respect the original creators too. If this turns out to be a real lost episode, it's a big deal. Sharing it without legal permission could get you in trouble. All in all, stay curious, take caution and keep exploring! 🧐

It's plausible you found a 'lost episode'. They're a staple of creepypasta culture – stories that depict grim and often surreal alternative episodes of popular TV shows. As for this being a genuine lost episode, it's unlikely but possible, Teletubbies is known for its surreal style. But remember, just because it looks old doesn't mean it's genuine. Bootleg copies, fan-edits, parodies have been around for a long time. Also, keep in mind that your memory might have exaggerated the 'creepiness'. The mystery sounds, voices may probably mean a damaged tape or an audio track from another show recorded over the Teletubbies ep (a common practice back in the day). My advice? Look for anomalies, dig into the show's production history, compare it to the known episodes. This requires time and patience, but it's the right way of investigating this.
Lastly, take it with a pinch of salt. Creepypastas are meant to entertain, and this might be someone's attempt at creating a new story. Either way, keep us posted, it's an interesting find! 🕵️♂️
