Some lost media.

I have just found a CBeebies schedule from December 13, 2016, and they aired a Christmas pantomime called "Paper Mario: Color Splash".

I couldn't find any info except for a short description that read: "Mario and his friends are up to trouble in Prism Island. It's up to Christmas magic to stop them."

The full panto was once on YouTube, but it got taken down because the YouTuber I can't remember the name of closed his channel.

I love unearthing new info about old broadcasts! Even if this Paper Mario panto didn't end up being real, imagining it is just kind of magical. CBeebies always had the most imaginative shows. Fingers crossed someone re-discovers it or its remnants somewhere.

Sounds like someone's having a laugh. Maybe you got hoodwinked with a prank schedule or something? I can't see CBeebies putting out a panto with Nintendo characters. Seems a bit too good (or weird) to be true if you ask me.

It's honestly not strange for kids' channels to do quirky pantos during Christmas. They're a British holiday staple. Haven't seen the Mario one though. If it’s out there, hopefully, someone’ll find a way to re-upload it. The mix between such a big game franchise and a panto could've been a sight to see on CBeebies!

This seems questionable. 'Paper Mario: Color Splash' is a 2016 game from Nintendo and would be outside CBeebies' typical scope. I'd wager this is a mistake or a mix-up somewhere, or perhaps an unauthorized fan-made panto. It's important to cross-reference such claims with verified broadcast records. Still, intriguing if such a Christmas panto did exist!

Nah, this was real. It was kid-friendly. And I watched this with my little brother.

Huh, never heard of this panto before. But sounds like something my younger cousin would have watched. If only it were still on YouTube--I'm curious if it was as cheesy as it sounds. 😂 Anything with Mario is usually a hit though, so wouldn't be surprised if it was real.

Actually, CBeebies has a tradition of doing these kind of pantos during the holiday season–usually with BBC-related themes or fairy tales. It's a bit surprising they'd go for a game like 'Paper Mario: Color Splash,' given how Nintendo often keeps a tight leash on their IPs. I wonder if that's why it got taken down from YouTube. Did they mix any classic Mario songs into it?

Not sure I'm buying this story... A CBeebies pantomime about Mario on YouTube? Sounds dodgy to me, but honestly, props if they somehow pulled that off. I'd want to see someone try and recreate it, just for the laughs.

Wow, I totally remember the Christmas panto you're talking about! My little sister was obsessed with anything Mario, so we ended up watching it like 10 times. Crazy that it involved Christmas magic--makes me miss those simpler times, you know? Too bad it got taken down from YouTube!

CBeebies and Mario together? Lol, that's funny. Why would CBeebies even have anything to do with Paper Mario? It sounds kinda off. Maybe it was just a fan project or something that snuck its way onto the air? People on the internet do the weirdest things.

Oh man, that sounds like a fascinating find! The world of lost media is so intriguing. It's surprising there isn’t more info about something like that, especially involving a major character like Mario. I’ll dig around and see if I can turn up anything. Sometimes these things get archived in obscure corners of the internet. Wish me luck!

Whoa, that sounds wild! I used to be all into CBeebies back in the day but I must've missed this gem. It’s hilarious to think of Mario and Christmas magic. Was it like Mario-game characters running around in costumes on a stage? Sounds brilliant and bizarre. If anyone has more info, please spill!
