Chucklevision - *That* episode

just got a hold of an old chucklevision ep, u know the comedy for kids by the chuckle brothers. but guess what, in this one theyre in a haunted house and it felt too real. Like the atmosphere was off, no laugh track, and they seemed genuinely scared at some points. it ended abruptly too. Anyone knows about this or seen it?

Collector of old shows here. It's possible what you have is a production copy that was never meant to be seen by the public. Sometimes shows record multiple versions of an episode, and the one with darker undertones could've been a director's cut or a version the actors played around with. The lack of a laugh track adds to that theory. Super interested if you'd be willing to part with it, I've been trying to add rare finds to my collection.

I'm fairly sure I've seen every Chucklevision ep there is and I don't remember anything like what you're describing. You might have some rare content on your hands there, friend. Do share more details!

Ah, man, Chucklevision was my jam back in the day! A haunted house episode, though? That's news to me. Most episodes were pretty light-hearted, even the 'spooky' ones. However, there was some talk, like urban legends, that said the brothers tried to branch out but got reined back in by the producers to keep things strictly comedic. Really curious though, if that ep is as dark as you say, it sounds out of character for the show. Do remember any particular phrases or jokes that could clue us in on the authenticity?

Diehard Chuckle fan here — I'm familiar with nearly every episode. There was a rumor about a so-called 'haunted episode,' but it's mostly considered an urban legend. However, if you've actually found something, it could be a lost episode or a fan edit. The Chuckle Brothers did dabble in playing with more serious themes occasionally, which might explain a change in tone. Would be very interested in any specific details — episode number, production codes, scenes you remember?
