Crash Bandicoot at its finest

Ah, the days of sitting cross-legged on the floor smashing through levels on Crash Bandicoot for the PS1. Still remember when my brother and I spent hours trying to get all the crystals and gems. It was a game, but it felt like a journey man, with that bouncy soundtrack and the classic sound of spinning crates. Those were the iconic days of Aussie gaming!

Never played Crash myself, but I remember all my friends talking about it non-stop. I guess some things really become classics for a reason!

It's interesting how Crash Bandicoot became a cultural icon even outside Australia. It was Naughty Dog's breakout hit and arguably set the bar for 3D platformers at a time when the industry was shifting away from 2D games. Wonder what kind of influence it had on Aussie game developers back then.

Back in my day, we didn't have fancy graphics like today's kids. Crash had just the right mix of platforming challenge and goofy antics. Kids today will never know that kind of gaming charm!

Getting all the relics was tougher than any Dark Souls boss I've faced! But those platinum relics shining on the menu screen... totally worth those endless restarts.

Crash defined the era, for sure. My brother and I would sneak into the living room at night to play 'cause the PS1 was supposed to be 'for weekends only'. The soundtrack, though—Takes me back every time.

Omg, yes! The memories of running through N. Sanity Beach and being chased by boulders. Crash Bandicoot was peak entertainment!

Mate, I was so obsessed with collecting all the masks. Remember Aku Aku's 'Oooga-booga!'? Still cracks me up 😂
