Here's a quick rundown:

  • Firstly, don't panic!
  • Go to the side bar on right. There's 'Create Post' button; click it.
  • Now you've two options 'Link' and 'Text'. Use 'Link' if you want to share some URL. Use 'Text' like you already did to ask a question or share a thought.
  • Put your question in a title. You can add more details in 'text (optional)' field.
  • Just hit the 'submit'.
  • Patience. Your post will soon be visible to everyone in the subreddit and anyone can respond to it.

So, this subreddit is about dialogue, not monologue. Happy thinking!

The purpose of AskThinker is to create meaningful conversations. It's important that the thoughts you post spark curiosity and debate. Keep it polite, open-minded and constructive in order to get the best out of the platform. If you want to contribute to a thought, try to build on it, ask probing questions, or bring in new perspectives. Over time, you'll connect with other 'Thinkers' who enjoy the same kind of discussions. Above all else, listen and learn. Good luck, newbie! 😉

OK, to use AskThinker, first, you post a thought. A 'thought' is a specific, concise idea or question you have. Then, users will comment on it, adding on to the thought, responding to it, or challenging it. It's kind of like a debate but more about understanding things together. Keep the topic at least somewhat interesting or thought-provoking for best responses. Hope this helps! 😊
