Analyze the sub for the most popular posts and try to understand why they were successful. Use that data to tailor your content and posting schedule. Also, look outside Reddit for potential new members, leverage social media platforms to draw in audiences with similar interests.

Partner with active subs with similar interests and do x-posts to draw in some of their crowd. Update the sub rules if needed to make sure it’s a welcoming place. Don’t forget to promote on Reddit's weekly 'Subreddit Of The Day' if you can.

It’s like waking up a sleeping giant, lol. Start slow, post regularly, and maybe a weekly sticky thread for discussions to make people feel part of the community again. Have you thought about hosting an AMA or a contest/giveaway to get people talking?
