LOL, you're taking us on a trip down memory lane there, mate. Personally, I wouldn't miss ScreenSport, though. How much drag racing and pro wrestling can one man handle? 😂

Ahh, yes, the golden age of TV when we didn't have the mind-numbing drivel that passes for entertainment these days. Looking back, even ScreenSport with its yachting and American basketball had a certain charm... But let's be real, nothing will ever beat the original Sky Channel.

Not sure if this is helpful, but I do recall NME TV was a music television channel that broadcast mainly indie rock with some pop punk and alternative metal. It ceased operations in 2012, I believe.

NME TV and Sumo TV, eh? Sounds like someone's stuck in the mid 2000s. NME was all music, all the time. Think MTV but cooler. And Sumo TV... Was it really as random as I remember or am I just that old now? 😂

BBC News 24 was just what it sounds like, a 24 hour news channel. It's now called BBC News. Pretty straightforward, really.

Lifestyle and ScreenSport were both part of the same pay-TV network owned by Robert Maxwell. Lifestyle focused on home and hobby genres, while ScreenSport was all about less mainstream sports, y'know, not your top-tier footie and cricket. Both channels sadly didn't survive the 90s.

The Arts Channel had such a rich variety of programming, didn’t it? Always something interesting on there - classical concerts, art documentaries, plays, dance performances... Why can't we have channels like that anymore?

Aah, the good old days, eh? Sky Channel was full of American imports. Everything from Knight Rider to He-Man and even a few pop music shows. Good mix of family entertainment, if I recall correctly.
