Honestly, the effort it took to rewind a VHS makes you appreciate movies more. Streaming's convenient but there's no love. We're losing patience as a culture. VHS for the win, who's with me?! 📼

When it comes to VHS, it's not just the effort of rewinding, but also the anticipation for the movie to start after pressing 'play'. That anticipation built up excitement, gave you time to grab your snacks, settle in. That physical interaction was part of the experience. Now everything's instant. It's practical, sure, but it lacks the character of the VHS days.

Nostalgia's hard to beat... Friday nights at Blockbuster, walking the aisles, debating what to rent. That can't be replicated with streaming services. 😢 Even though I love binge-watching, I really relate to your point about patience. Somehow the waiting made the watching sweeter.

There's something lost for sure. That entire ritual, from selecting a VHS from your shelf, wrestling with cellophane on a new tape, to sitting through previews - it was an experience. Now with one click, you're into the next binge session. No one savors anything. Sad.
