Remember the days when we’d be huddled around a Nintendo 64 for hours on end, playing GoldenEye, Ocarina of Time, or Super Mario 64? The N64 was a game-changer, literally. 3D gaming had never been such a mind blowing experience. Controller in hand, moving Mario in directions we never thought possible. I still remember the feeling of awe when I swung the sword around as Link, or taking down my buddies in GoldenEye (no one chooses Oddjob!). We can debate about the controller (was it really that weird?), but there's no denying the N64 hit us with a gaming revolution that still echoes today. Man, those were the good old days, huh?

Although GoldenEye and Super Mario 64 were phenomenal games, Ocarina of Time held a special place in my heart. The sense of adventure, the epic story, and the revolutionary gameplay set the bar high for future Zelda games. Its legacy and impact continue to be seen in the modern entries of the franchise.

I still have my original N64 and a stack of games. They don't make 'em like this anymore. From the iconic trident shape to the unique C-buttons, the design was something else. And the rumble pack! Haven't even gotten to the games. My personal favorite has got to be Yoshi's Story, but all the classics always hold a firm place in my heart. Long live the N64.

Haha, Oddjob! That's breaking the first rule of GoldenEye multiplayer – no picking Oddjob! Seriously though, those were the days... Practically invented couch multiplayer with games like that. And the N64 deserves massive respect for bringing us FPS on consoles.

You're totally right about the revolution the Nintendo 64 brought with it. Not to mention the games! So many classics that are still amazing today. But the thing that was really a game changer was the introduction of 4 controller ports. No other console had that up until then. That feature alone turned gaming into a much more social event.
